The QAPPS Center for Applied Quantum Computing Saxony is a consortium of different institutes and universities in Saxony. Its mission is the development quantum software and computing technology in theory and practice. A central scheme is the R&D cooperation with partners in industry and society.

The QAPPS project is co-financed from taxes on the basis of the budget passed by the Saxon state parliament.
